Notes about homework

A few general notes about homework.

  1. Within your drive, please give each homework assignment a name which includes the date and a general idea of what the assignment is.  For example:
    • Expectations for course - 9/10/15, or
    • Picture analysis - 9/11/15
  2. Please make sure that your name is on the actual document every time.
  3. Take time to proofread and spell check your work.
    • It is helpful to take a few extra minutes and read your work out loud.  When you do this, you can usually catch sentences or language that doesn't make sense.  If it's awkward to read out loud, it's awkward for me to read as well.
  4. Always use proper capitalization and punctuation.
    • Google Docs does not automatically capitalize the word "i". Therefore, you need to capitalize "I" every time or it won't be correct.
